OIC Condemns Expansionist Statements of Zionist Occupation as Threat to Peace, International Law

JEDDAH – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned Zionist occupation’s recent statements, describing them as an extension of its rhetoric of extremism, incitement, aggression, and disregard for state sovereignty. The organization said the remarks constitute a blatant violation of international law, the UN Charter, and relevant UN resolutions.
According to the OIC, such aggressive statements are intended to help the Zionist entity evade its international obligations as an occupying power and to perpetuate violations of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people—chief among them the right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state within the 1967 borders, with Al-Quds as its capital. The organization warned that this expansionist and colonial discourse threatens regional and global security, fuels violence, and prolongs conflict in the region.
The OIC called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to take decisive measures to confront these policies, halt Zionist aggression, and advance the two-state solution. It emphasized that ending the illegal occupation of Palestinian and Arab territories seized since 1967 is essential for achieving a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace in the Middle East.
