Algeria-Italy: Signing of Multiple Partnership Agreements in Bilateral Cooperation

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune co-chaired a signing ceremony on Wednesday in Rome with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. This event marked the conclusion of several partnership agreements and memorandums of understanding across various fields of cooperation between the two countries, coinciding with his official visit to this friendly nation.
In this context, a bilateral agreement was signed covering agriculture and fishing, alongside a memorandum of understanding between the Italian Agency for Investment Attraction and Business Development (Invitalia) and the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI). Additionally, a protocol of understanding was established between Sonatrach Group and the Italian company ENI.
Moreover, an agreement related to film production was signed, as well as memorandums of understanding in the areas of postal services and telecommunications, the protection of individuals with specific needs, and fire prevention.
Earlier, President Tebboune co-chaired the fifth session of the high-level intergovernmental Algeria-Italy Summit with the Italian Prime Minister.
President Tebboune arrived in Rome on Tuesday evening, leading a significant delegation for this official visit.
