Khamenei Praises Iran’s Unity and Retaliatory Strikes, Warns U.S. and Zionist Entity

TEHRAN – Leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said Wednesday that the Iranian people have thwarted the objectives of the aggressors, highlighting the responsibility of all sectors of society to preserve national solidarity in the aftermath of the recent war.

In a meeting with senior members of the Judiciary in Tehran, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that Iranians from various religious and political backgrounds had stood united during the 12-day conflict, which began with Zionist strikes on June 13 and saw direct U.S. involvement from June 22.

He urged media figures, government officials, clerics, and judges to avoid unnecessary disputes and focus on reinforcing unity. “Clarifying facts is essential, but stirring controversy over minor issues or needlessly criticizing is harmful,” he stated.

The Leader praised the Iranian Armed Forces for their missile and drone strikes against Zionist targets, as well as the retaliatory strike on a U.S. airbase in Qatar on June 22. He described the attack on the American facility as “a very sensitive blow,” adding that once censorship is lifted, the magnitude of Iran’s response will be fully understood.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the strength of Iran’s retaliation forced the Zionist entity to seek U.S. assistance, which he cited as evidence of the Zionist entity’s inability to confront Iran alone. “If the Zionist regime could defend itself, it wouldn’t have begged the U.S. for help,” he said, reaffirming Iran’s readiness to deliver even greater blows if necessary.
