Lebanon: At Least 12 Killed in New Zionist Bombardments

At least 12 individuals have been killed and eight others injured on Tuesday due to fresh bombardments by the Zionist forces targeting the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese news agency Ani.

“Enemy fighter jets conducted airstrikes in the Wadi Fara area of the northern Bekaa Valley, one of which hit a camp for displaced Syrians, resulting in 12 martyrs, including seven Syrians, and eight injuries,” Ani reported.

Despite a ceasefire that came into effect on November 27, intended to end over a year of hostilities, the Zionist forces continues to carry out strikes on Lebanon almost daily, leading to deaths, injuries, and significant material damage.

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has recently called on the international community to increase pressure on the Zionist entity to withdraw from the territories it still occupies in southern Lebanon and to provide necessary assurances to prevent any future acts of aggression against the country.
