German Chancellor Merz Slams Zionist Plan for “Humanitarian City” in Rafah

BERLIN – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has strongly criticized the Zionist entity’s plan to establish a so-called “humanitarian city” in Rafah, located in the south of the Gaza Strip, amid ongoing Zionist aggression.
Speaking to the press on Sunday, Merz expressed increasing disapproval of Zionist actions in Gaza, declaring, “The Palestinian people have the right to a place where they can live. What is currently happening in Gaza is simply not acceptable.”
The German leader also reaffirmed his support for a two-state solution and voiced hope for renewed diplomatic efforts, in coordination with the United States, to bring about meaningful progress toward a lasting resolution.
