2nd Algerian-Turkish Political Consultations Held in Algiers

ALGIERS – The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Lounès Magramane, co-chaired on Wednesday, with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye, Burhanettin Duran, the 2nd Algerian-Turkish political consultations, the ministry said in a press release.

In this respect, the two parties who congratulated each other on “the solidity of historical ties between the two countries, reviewed the state of Algerian-Turkish partnership relations on various levels, notably in their political and economic dimensions,” said the press release.

In this regard, the two parties discussed ways to strengthen and deepen technical cooperation and investment between the two countries in different fields, added the same source.

These political consultations also allowed to exchange views and analyses on several regional and international questions of common interest, bringing out a convergence of views between the two countries on developments in several regions, notably the situation in Palestine, the Middle East, Western Sahara and in the Sahelo-Saharan region, according to the press release.
