Iran Vows to Continue Peaceful Nuclear Program Despite U.S. Strikes

TEHRAN – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi condemned the recent U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, stating that the country’s peaceful nuclear program will not be halted.

In an interview Sunday with Germany’s ARD channel, Takht-Ravanchi firmly rejected any notion of suspending Iran’s nuclear activities, including uranium enrichment.

“We are sincere members of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT),” he said, emphasizing that Iran continues uranium enrichment solely for peaceful nuclear energy purposes under this framework.

“No one can tell us what we should or should not do as long as we remain within the NPT,” he stressed
