
ALGIERS – Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune ordered, at a Council of Ministers meeting he chaired Sunday, the creation of a national centre and regional annexes to take care of children with autism, the Council of Ministers said in a statement.
Concerning the national draft autism plan, the president of the Republic ordered “the creation of a national centre and regional annexes to take care of children with autism allowing them to benefit from the best possible teaching and support,” the statement said.
He also ordered to make sure that those children “will not be psychologically affected by the separation from parents during periods of care in these centres”
