Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during a visit to Kyiv on Friday, proposed that Turkey host a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and U.S. President Donald Trump.
“We sincerely believe that the first and second rounds of talks in Istanbul could culminate in a meeting between Trump, Putin, and Zelensky, under the leadership of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan,” Fidan stated.
