Disruption and Delays as French Air Traffic Controllers Strike

A civil servant strike is set to cause disruption and delays across several sectors on Wednesday (May 14), with significant impact on air travel as air traffic controllers join the nationwide action supported by five major unions.

The French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) announced that all flights to and from Pau airport in the southwest are cancelled due to the strike. Several flights to and from Tarbes are also affected.

Additional disruptions are expected at Limoges, Marseille, and Paris Orly airports. The two-day walkout is part of broader protests by public sector workers demanding improved working conditions and pay.
