Algerian Premier, Sierra Leone Vice President Hold Bilateral Talks

FREETOWN (Sierra Leone) – Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui on Tuesday held talks, in Freetown, with the vice president of Sierra Leone, Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, on the eve of his participation, as representative of the Algerian president, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in the 3rd Africa High-Level Forum on South-South and Triangular Cooperation for Sustainable Development.

Accompanied by Selma Mansouri, Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of African Affairs, Larbaoui discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation in the mutual interest of both countries. The two officials also reviewed the current situation across the African continent, with a particular focus on the Sahel region.

Vice President Jalloh praised Algeria’s active role on the African stage and commended President Tebboune’s consistent support for continental initiatives. He highlighted Algeria’s backing of the African Peer Review Mechanism and its contribution to enhancing the mechanism’s capacity to conduct second-generation national evaluations.
