Algerian FM Engages in Phone Conversation with Pakistani Counterpart

Ahmed Attaf, Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, received a phone call on Tuesday from Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as noted in a statement from the ministry.

During their conversation, both parties underscored “the strong political will of the leaders of both countries to strengthen Algerian-Pakistani relations and elevate them to the highest possible levels,” the source reported.

The two ministers also addressed developments in the Indian subcontinent. In this context, Attaf reaffirmed “Algeria’s position, which advocates for preserving the foundations of security and stability in the region, prioritizing dialogue and diplomacy, and working towards resolving disputes through peaceful means,” according to the statement.
