Algeria and Oman Expand Bilateral Talks During Sultan Haitham’s State Visit

ALGIERS – The talks between Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and Sultan of Oman, His Majesty Haitham bin Tariq, were extended on Monday at the headquarters of the Algerian Presidency to members of the delegations from both countries.
Previously, the Algerian President had held a one-on-one meeting with His Majesty Haitham bin Tariq. The President of the Republic granted an official welcome to the Sultan of Oman at the headquarters of the Presidency. The two leaders inspected a detachment and cavalry of the Republican Guard who paid them the honors.
Earlier in the morning, the Sultan of Oman paid his respects at the Martyrs’ Memorial in memory of the martyrs of the glorious War of National Liberation, before visiting the National Mujahid Museum, where he received detailed explanations about the different stages of Algeria’s history, especially the glorious War of National Liberation.
The Sultan of Oman began a two-day state visit to Algeria on Sunday.
