Algerian Parliamentary Delegation Visits Vietnam to Boost Bilateral Cooperation

ALGIERS — A delegation from the Algeria-Vietnam parliamentary friendship group at the People’s National Assembly (lower house of Parliament) is on an official visit to Hanoi, Vietnam, as part of enhancing parliamentary cooperation and bilateral relations between the two countries, the lower house said on Monday in a statement.
Set to wrap up on April 25, the visit “seeks to take the strategic partnership to new heights, exchange legislative expertise and reinforce the deep-rooted historical and cultural ties between Algeria and Vietnam,” according to the statement.
It “also contributes to the joint efforts for developing relations between the two countries in various fields,” the same source continued.
The cross-party parliamentary delegation is being led by Salah Djaghloul, the statement concluded.
