Russia has voiced strong support for continued dialogue between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), following IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi’s visit to Tehran.
Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, wrote on Telegram that Moscow fully supports the talks and hopes Grossi’s visit will be as productive as possible.
Grossi arrived in Tehran on April 16 for a two-day visit, during which he met Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. He is also scheduled to hold talks with Mohammad Eslami, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization.
