China and Malaysia Reaffirm Support for Palestine, Call Gaza Integral to Its Land

China and Malaysia issued a joint statement on Thursday reaffirming that Gaza is an inseparable part of Palestinian territory. The declaration followed the official visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Malaysia.

Both countries emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the South China Sea. They also reiterated their commitment to cooperation within the frameworks of the United Nations, the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organization, and BRICS.

During President Xi’s visit, the two nations signed 31 agreements covering trade, tourism, railway transportation, and agriculture. Xi departed Malaysia on Thursday morning, heading to Cambodia as part of a Southeast Asian tour that also includes Vietnam.
