The ICT Africa Summit 2025, a major event focused on strategic digital and innovation issues across the African continent, will be held from April 21 to 23 at the Palais des Expositions in Pins Maritimes, Algiers, under the theme “Unlocking Digital Horizons,” organizers announced on Wednesday.
Held under the patronage of several ministries and supported by Algeria Telecom Group as the official sponsor, the high-profile gathering will bring together over 150 exhibitors, along with digital industry leaders, innovative startups, and government decision-makers, according to Summit Commissioner Mr. Bachir Tadjeddine at a press conference in Algiers.
The Summit will focus on how digital technologies can drive economic growth, sustainable development, financial inclusion, and social transformation across Africa. Four thematic forums will structure discussions: the E-Gov Forum on public sector digital transformation; the Oil and Gas Forum on technological innovation in the energy sector; the Health and Pharma Forum on digital advances in healthcare; and the Airport IT Forum on tech solutions enhancing passenger experience and airport operations.
As Africa continues to expand digital connectivity and financial inclusion, the Summit represents a crucial step toward turning these advances into long-lasting impact by strengthening cybersecurity, promoting intra-African trade, and integrating digital technologies into economic and social development.
This edition will coincide with two other major events—Digital Africa Summit, ICT Maghreb, and Alvetic—creating a powerful platform for innovation and digital collaboration across the continent.
