ALGIERS — The Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks in Addis Ababa on Monday with the Deputy Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission, Ambassador Selma Malika Haddadi, a ministry’s statement said.
The bilateral meeting took place on the eve of his participation in the 24th Extraordinary Session of the AU Executive Council, the same source noted.
The meeting allowed them to “discuss continent-wide efforts to develop administrative and financial governance at the AU level and steps that would enable the continental organization to strengthen its capacity to address growing political, security, economic and development challenges,” the statement said.
