At Least Four Dead in Migrant Boat Sinking Off Coast of Greece

At least four migrants died Thursday when their boat sank near the island of Lesbos in the Aegean Sea, according to reports from various media outlets citing Greek coast guard officials.
The same sources indicated that 23 individuals were rescued, while search operations continue for any potential survivors, as approximately thirty people are believed to have been on board.
Such shipwrecks frequently occur during these perilous crossings between the Turkish coasts and nearby Greek islands like Samos and Lesbos, which serve as entry points into the European Union.
