Presidents of Algeria, Tunisia Exchange Eid al-Fitr Greetings

Algeria President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his counterpart, President Kais Saied of Tunisia, extended their warmest wishes in celebration of Eid al-Fitr, according to a communiqué from the Presidency of the Republic issued on Monday.

“The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and his esteemed brother, the President of the Tunisian Republic, a friendly nation, exchanged heartfelt wishes for Eid al-Fitr,” the statement noted.

“On this occasion, they expressed their aspirations for prosperity, progress, peace, and security for the two brotherly peoples of Algeria and Tunisia,” the communiqué added.

“The two presidents have agreed to convene for a presidential meeting at the earliest opportunity,” the source concluded.
