Zionist Airstrike Hits Syria’s Capital Damascus

The Zionist military confirmed on Thursday that it had carried out an airstrike in Syria’s capital, Damascus, claiming to have targeted the headquarters of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement. The strike, which hit the Dummar neighborhood, reportedly resulted in at least one death and multiple injuries.

Syria’s official news agency said the attack struck a residential area, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that two missiles were used in the assault. Reuters, citing Syrian security sources, suggested that the target was a Palestinian individual, while Zionist Channel 12 claimed a senior Islamic Jihad member was targeted.

The attack comes amid the Zionist entity’s escalating military actions in Syria following the ouster of President Bashar al-Assad last December. Zionist forces have moved into southern Syria, with Zionist War Minister stating that the military is prepared to stay in the country indefinitely.
