Appointed by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Laïd Rebiga, attended the funeral of Namibia’s former President and esteemed ally of Algeria, the late Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma. The ceremony took place on Friday in Windhoek, as reported by the ministry.
The funeral, presided over by Namibia’s current President, Nangolo Mbumba, was attended by several heads of state and government, along with prominent African leaders.
During this solemn event, the Minister of Mujahideen and War Veterans was accompanied by Algeria’s ambassador to Namibia, Abdelkrim Diaf, as noted by the same source.
