Algerian FM Engages in Talks with His Brazilian Counterpart in Johannesburg

Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral discussions on Wednesday in Johannesburg with Mauro Vieira, the Minister of Foreign Relations of the Federative Republic of Brazil, prior to his participation in the G20 ministerial meeting, according to a communiqué from the ministry.

The meeting served as an opportunity to examine the growing dynamics characterizing the relationship between Algeria and Brazil, particularly in the economic realm. The ministers explored ways to elevate these ties to new heights, taking into account the complementary advantages of both countries, the statement noted.

Additionally, the two ministers addressed several international and regional issues of shared interest, placing particular emphasis on recent developments concerning the Palestinian issue and the evolving situation in the Middle East, the same source reported.
