Gaza Media Office: Aid Deliveries at Just 30% of Ceasefire Agreement Levels

The Gaza Media Office reported on Sunday that the number of aid trucks entering Gaza over the past two days has not exceeded 30% of the expected volume, attributing the shortfall to Zionist-imposed restrictions. Despite the ceasefire agreement stipulating a daily quota of 600 trucks, fewer than 180 trucks carrying essential humanitarian supplies have been allowed in.
On Thursday, Gaza Media Office head Ismail Al-Thawabta stated that “Israel” continues to block critical aid in violation of the ceasefire terms. Meanwhile, Hamas confirmed that Egypt and Qatar were mediating efforts to resolve disputes over the agreement and reiterated its commitment to the agreed prisoner exchange timeline. Palestinian officials have accused “Israel” of failing to uphold its obligations, prompting Hamas to suspend hostage releases last Monday until humanitarian provisions are met.
The ceasefire deal, which took effect on January 19, has faced multiple violations. These include targeted killings of Palestinians, restrictions on the return of displaced civilians to northern Gaza, obstruction of essential relief supplies, and limits on medical aid. The ongoing blockade has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where nearly 48,300 Palestinians—mostly women and children—have been killed, and infrastructure remains devastated.
