Algeria: President Tebboune Receives Mauritanian President’s Special Envoy

ALGIERS, February 6, 2025 – On Thursday, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, met with Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad. During this meeting, Ould Merzoug delivered a message from his counterpart, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, as noted in a communiqué from the Presidency.

The meeting was attended by Boualem Boualem, the Director of the Cabinet at the Presidency, and Ahmed Attaf, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs.
