Shooting in Sweden: Weapons Discovered at Training Center (Police)

REBRO (Sweden), February 6, 2025 – Several firearms were uncovered at the adult training center in Rebro, central Sweden, where a man tragically killed ten people on Tuesday, according to a police spokesperson who spoke with the media on Thursday.

“We found multiple firearms, specifically long guns, which refer to rifles,” he stated.

Swedish media reports indicate that the assailant, who likely died by suicide, possessed a permit for four hunting weapons.

While the police have not revealed the exact number or severity of injuries, regional authorities noted on Tuesday that six individuals were hospitalized due to gunshot wounds.

“The motive behind the shooting remains unknown; however, all indications suggest that the shooter acted alone and without any ideological motivation,” the police emphasized.
