
Ahmed Attaf, Algerian Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, arrived in Luanda, Republic of Angola, on Friday evening as a special envoy of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, according to a statement from the ministry.
This visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance coordination on various continental issues, particularly as Angola prepares to assume the rotating presidency of the African Union (AU) next February, the communiqué noted.
During his visit, Attaf is scheduled to meet with Angolan President Joao Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço to deliver a letter from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
Additionally, Attaf will conduct a working session with his Angolan counterpart, Tete Antonio, the statement concluded.
