Pakistan: Over 340 Terrorists Eliminated Between January and October

A report submitted to the National Assembly by the Ministry of Interior reveals that Pakistani security forces eliminated 341 terrorists during the first ten months of this year.
According to the Ministry of Interior, “The security forces and law enforcement agencies conducted 12,801 operations nationwide during this period, leading to the elimination of these terrorists.”
“The operations were launched based on intelligence reports indicating the presence of terrorists in specific areas,” the ministry added.
Additionally, approximately 800 individuals have been arrested across the country for terrorism-related offenses, with 400 arrests made in Punjab province (east) and 203 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province (northwest).
Furthermore, a total of 2,466 individuals were apprehended, resulting in 526 convictions related to terrorist financing.
