Algeria ‘Warmly’ Welcomes ICC’s Issuance of Arrest Warrants for Zionist Officials

Algeria has warmly welcomed the issuance of arrest warrants by the International Criminal Court for Zionist officials, who are charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. This announcement was made in a statement released today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs.
The statement emphasized that “this action, long advocated by Algeria through President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, marks a significant step toward ending decades of impunity for the Israeli occupier, who has evaded accountability and punishment while committing atrocities against the Palestinian people and throughout the region.”
Reaffirming the urgent need for justice and protection for the Palestinian people, the statement urged members of the international community, especially those countries that are parties to the International Criminal Court, to take the necessary actions to enforce the arrest warrants and ensure that international justice prevails.
