Spanish Government Slams Zionist Statements of West Bank Annexation

The Spanish government expressed its strong rejection of the Zionist statements regarding the annexation of the occupied West Bank.

The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release that “imposing sovereignty by force is contrary to international law, and the International Court of Justice has ruled that the “Israeli” occupation of Palestinian territories for decades is illegal and must end as soon as possible.”

It added that the extremist statements are provocative and hinder the necessary calming of regional tensions, stressing that the settlements are completely contrary to international law.

Far-right Zionist Minister pledged in a speech he delivered while chairing a meeting of the “Religious Zionism” party in the Zionist Knesset last Monday that 2025 would be the year of Zionist sovereignty over the West Bank.
