US State Department Officials Push Blinken to Suspend Military Aid to zionist entity Over Gaza Humanitarian Crisis

Several US State Department officials have urged Secretary of State Antony Blinken to suspend at least some military aid to the Zionist entity due to its failure to comply with US demands for improved humanitarian access into the Gaza Strip, Axios reported on Wednesday. These officials argued that withholding military aid would be a necessary step to press the Zionist entity into fulfilling its obligations regarding humanitarian relief. However, other officials within the department recommended continuing to apply pressure on the Zionist entiy without suspending arms sales, a stance Blinken ultimately sided with.

On Tuesday, eight international human rights organizations released a report stating that the Zionist entity had failed to meet the US’s demands to address the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza by the set deadline. In mid-October, Blinken and US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin had sent a letter to Zionist officials urging them to take urgent steps to improve the situation or face repercussions related to US arms deliveries.

The Zionist entity has faced repeated accusations of obstructing the flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza, imposing severe restrictions on the transportation of goods. In response, the zionist entity has denied these claims, countering with reports indicating that over 900,000 tonnes of aid have been delivered to Gaza within the last year.
