Russian Foreign Ministry Criticizes Jennifer Lopez’s Political Comments

The Russian Foreign Ministry has criticized Jennifer Lopez for entering the political discourse, accusing her of being at the center of “monstrous obscurantism” during her past involvement in events that have now been legally criminalized in American society.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova remarked that Lopez, having been at the epicenter of such events, now offers political commentary “without any arguments.” Zakharova added that while Lopez was aware of the dangers surrounding those events, she “didn’t say a word, didn’t warn anyone” in her inner circle or the public, implying that the star failed to take responsibility for her actions.
