Algerian President Leads Military Parade for 70th Anniversary of Liberation Revolution

Algerian President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Minister of National Defense, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, oversaw a military parade in Algiers on Friday, organized by the Algerian National People’s Army (ANP) to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Glorious Revolution of November 1, 1954.

Accompanied by Army General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the National People’s Army, the President reviewed the various military formations representing all branches of the ANP, accompanied by military music and the sound of 70 cannon shots.

The parade was attended by several heads of state and distinguished guests from both allied and friendly nations. Additionally, high-ranking government officials, members of the revolutionary families, and diplomats accredited in Algeria were present at this significant event.
