Algerian APN’s President Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthen Algerian-Korean Parliamentary Ties

During a meeting on Thursday in Seoul with the former Speaker of the Korean National Assembly, Kim Jin-pyo, Brahim Boughali, President of the Algerian National People’s Assembly (APN), reaffirmed his dedication to enhancing parliamentary relations between Algeria and South Korea, as noted in a communiqué from the lower house of Parliament.

In his discussions with the former Korean Assembly leader, Boughali highlighted that his visit to South Korea “will further strengthen high-level dialogue, which can elevate bilateral cooperation to the desired levels.” He advocated for increased consultation and the exchange of experiences between the two nations.

For his part, the former Speaker expressed his satisfaction with the outcomes of his visit to Algeria last January, during which he met with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. He recalled the “positive rapport” he experienced during his time in Algeria and extended “gratitude from the Government, Parliament, and Korean businesses to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune for his efforts to enhance the investment climate and support Korean companies in Algeria.”

Additionally, MJin-pyo mentioned the missions and roles of the International Innovation Institute, which he leads, in providing consulting services to countries seeking to benefit from Korean development experience.
