
Algerian Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Laid Rebiga, emphasized the critical importance of preserving the nation’s historical memory. Speaking on Wednesday in Algiers, Rebiga highlighted that the memory of the liberation war and the sacrifices made by Algeria’s heroes must remain a central focus for future generations. He noted that safeguarding this legacy is essential to fostering national pride and ensuring that the country’s struggle for independence continues to inspire patriotism and unity.
Rebiga also called for raising the voice of Algeria on the global stage, ensuring that the story of its fight for freedom is recognized and respected. He stressed that Algeria must continue to honor its veterans and martyrs while promoting national values rooted in the history of its liberation. By doing so, Algeria can keep alive the spirit of independence and remain resilient in the face of modern challenges, both domestically and internationally.
