UNHCR: 100,000 Lebanese and Syrians fled to Syria amid Zionist airstrikes

GENEVA – The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Filippo Grandi, announced on Monday that the number of Lebanese and Syrian people crossing the border into Syria from Lebanon amid the Zionist airstrikes has reached 100,000.
Grandi highlighted that “UNHCR officials are present at four crossing points, alongside local authorities and the Syrian Red Crescent, to assist the displaced.”
The Zionist entity has been bombing Lebanon since September 23, resulting in over 700 martyrs and nearly 2,200 injuries, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
The Lebanese Health Minister Firas Al-Abyad also reported that 1,640 citizens, including 104 children and 194 women, have been martyred since October 8, 2023.
