The Federal President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, conveyed his congratulations to the President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, following his re-election for a second presidential term, as announced in a communiqué from the Algerian Presidency on Wednesday.
The statement read: “The Federal President of Germany, Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, congratulated the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on his re-election for a second term, wishing him every success in implementing the reform plan he has initiated to fulfill the aspirations of the Algerian people.”
Moreover, the German president emphasized in his message to President Tebboune his country’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations in key areas of cooperation, including renewable energy, the Southern Hydrogen Corridor project, and other regional issues to enhance ties between the two nations.
