TUNIS – The electoral campaign for the Tunisian presidential elections, scheduled for October 6, began on Saturday and will continue for 21 days, according to the Tunisian news agency TAP.
The Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) noted that “the electoral campaign will end 24 hours before the vote.”
Three candidates are running in this election: Ayachi Zammel, Secretary General of the “Azimoun” movement; Zouheir Maghzaoui, Secretary General of the “Echaab” movement; and the incumbent president, Kaïs Saïed.
