GAZA : Zionist Forces Commit New Massacre, Killing Dozens of Displaced Civilians

GAZA – Zionist occupation forces carried out a devastating airstrike at dawn on Tuesday, targeting the tents housing displaced people in Mawasi Khan Yunis, located southwest of the Gaza Strip. The attack, which occurred near the British Hospital at the entrance to the Mawasi area, resulted in significant casualties, with dozens of civilians, including many children and women, either killed or injured. Numerous others remain unaccounted for as recovery operations continue.

Medics reported that the initial recovery efforts have unearthed 40 deceased individuals and 60 wounded survivors following three hours of intense search and rescue operations. The Palestinian Civil Defense described the assault as one of the most brutal since the onset of the current Zionist aggression, noting that entire families have been buried under the rubble caused by the powerful missiles. The airstrike involved five missiles, which caused extensive damage to the tents and dug deep craters, complicating the efforts of rescue and medical teams.

The area is currently in chaos, with Zionist reconnaissance aircraft overhead, a complete power outage, and fires resulting from the bombing. Eyewitnesses and paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent reported severe challenges in retrieving the injured and deceased due to the destruction and deep holes created by the missiles. A large number of ambulances have been deployed to transport the casualties to field hospitals and nearby medical centers, while rescue operations continue amid the ongoing Zionist military campaign on Gaza, which has intensified since October 7, exacerbating the already dire humanitarian situation.
