Algerian FM Receives a Phone Call from His Saudi Counterpart

On Tuesday, Ahmed Attaf, the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, received a phone call from his counterpart in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, as noted in a communiqué from the ministry.
The call allowed for “a review of the developments regarding the Palestinian issue amidst the ongoing acts of genocide being perpetrated by the Israeli occupation in Gaza, which have also extended to the West Bank at the hands of the occupying authorities and Israeli settlers, as part of a comprehensive process of liquidation, occupation, and expansion,” the communiqué added.
The two ministers also examined “the prospects for enhancing Arab and Islamic cooperation in addressing these escalating challenges and mobilizing the international community in support of the legitimacy established for the creation of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state as a just, enduring, and definitive solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict,” the communiqué further elaborated.
