Algeria’s Presidential compaign : Strategic Sectors Support Takes Center Stage in Electoral Speeches

As the presidential election campaign enters its 15th day, candidates are focusing their speeches on supporting Algeria’s strategic economic sectors.
Youcef Aouchiche of the Front of Socialist Forces (FFS) has emphasized the need for strong voter participation to build a diversified economy less reliant on hydrocarbons. His program includes creating local economic hubs, promoting competitiveness, implementing judicial reforms, and raising the minimum wage. Aouchiche also plans to reform the tax system and support vulnerable groups.
Independent candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune is backed by several political leaders who highlight his commitment to socio-economic development, including supporting farmers, launching major projects, and addressing social issues. Tebboune’s supporters stress his focus on agricultural and pharmaceutical industries and improving social support.
Abdelali Hassani Cherif from the Movement of Society for Peace (MSP) has committed to developing southern regions with new projects to boost quality of life and create jobs, while encouraging investment in agriculture and mining. He has urged citizens to vote for him to strengthen democracy and advance economic development.
