Algeria’s Presidential election : Youcef Aouchiche Pledges to Establish a Balanced Economic System
Youcef Aouchiche, the Socialist Forces Front (FFS) candidate for the September 7 presidential election, pledged in Ouargla to establish “a balanced economic system” that will provide national experts with opportunities to invest. Speaking at a campaign meeting in Sedrata, Aouchiche emphasized his commitment to implementing this economic system if elected.
He asserted that Algeria possesses the necessary resources and expertise to achieve significant development, stressing the importance of leveraging the hydrocarbon sector to support national growth and economic advancement.
On the social front, Aouchiche vowed to tackle unemployment, particularly among youth, while considering the unique needs and potential of each region. He also promised to review salaries, increase allowances for vulnerable groups, and allocate a portion of oil tax revenues to fund major investment projects aimed at job creation.
