Algeria’s Presidential Election : Hassani Cherif Pledges to Address the Needs of Southern Provinces

Hassani Cherif Abdelaali, the Algerian presidential candidate from the Movement of Society for Peace (MSP), emphasized in Tamanrasset his commitment to addressing the needs of southern provinces in Algeria during his campaign for the September 7 election. Cherif, speaking on the 13th day of his campaign, outlined a development-focused program aimed at improving infrastructure, establishing new facilities, and promoting investment to combat unemployment and enhance living conditions in the southern regions.

Cherif highlighted the strategic, cultural, and historical significance of Tamanrasset, describing it as vital for Algeria’s security and stability and a key gateway to Africa. He also proposed the creation of a barter market with African countries to boost economic cooperation. At the end of his meeting, he urged citizens to vote for him to enable the implementation of his proposed development initiatives. This outreach event follows a prior engagement in downtown, where he engaged directly with local residents
