Al Mawasi Population Density Surges to 30,000 per Sq Km (UN)

The United Nations has reported that population density in the Al-Mawasi area of Gaza has surged to 30,000 individuals per square kilometer. This increase is due to a significant influx of displaced persons.
Many Palestinians have sought refuge in Al-Mawasi in central Gaza due to the ongoing Zionist aggression. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) highlighted this in a statement. Repeated evacuation orders have forced families to be displaced multiple times.
There are now 30,000 residents in each square kilometer of Al-Mawasi. This is compared to just 1,200 individuals per square kilometer before the recent violence began.
Nine out of ten people in Gaza have faced displacement, according to UN data. Most Palestinians in the area must relocate at least once a month.
The occupying forces have persisted with intense aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7. The attacks involve numerous airstrikes and shelling from land and sea. This onslaught has resulted in tens of thousands of casualties, including killed, wounded individuals, and those reported missing.
Extensive damage to infrastructure and essential facilities has occurred. This has led to an unparalleled humanitarian disaster in the region. The blockade on food, water, medical supplies, and fuel has exacerbated the situation.
