Algerian PM Meets with Mauritanian President in Nouakchott

On behalf of the Algerian President, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Prime Minister Mr. Nadhir Larbaoui met today, Thursday, in Nouakchott with the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazaouani, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office.
The statement reads: “Representing the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Prime Minister Mr. Nadhir Larbaoui met today, Thursday, with the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazaouani. He conveyed the greetings of Mr. Tebboune and reiterated his sincere congratulations on his re-election. Furthermore, he expressed a keen interest in continuing to strengthen cooperation and partnership between the two countries while intensifying political dialogue on regional and international issues of mutual concern.”
In response, the Mauritanian President expressed his “profound gratitude to Mr. Tebboune for Algeria’s participation in his inauguration ceremony as President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and his deep appreciation for Mr. Tebboune’s personal commitment to fostering Algerian-Mauritanian relations, which have seen significant development in all fields,” according to the same source.
