UN calls for opening an investigation into the killing of journalists in a zionist airstrike in Gaza

The United Nations called today for opening an investigation into the killing of , in a zionist airstrike while they were reporting in Shati camp in northern Gaza.
During a press conference, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric condemned the killing of Al Jazeera journalist, Ismail al-Ghoul, and cameraman, Rami al-Rifi by zionist occupation. He said that these and similar incidents must be fully and transparently investigated and emphasized the need to provide journalists with protection, and the need for accountability.
Since the outbreak of the zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, more than 165 journalists have been killed, according to reports issued by Gaza government media office.
